We will meet Monday through Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. Please mark your calendars and set time aside at the beginning of the New Year to seek the Lord. Come expecting!

Please note that there will NOT be childcare available other than the regular Wednesday evening programs for children.

1. LADIES' CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON TICKETS ARE ON SALE! Pick up yours today. The 2011 Luncheon will be on Saturday, December 10 at 12:00 noon at the Oympic Hills Country Club. Tickets are $25.

2. MISSION TRIP: UGANDA! The men's Uganda Mission team will be leaving tomorrow morning. Please be in prayer for them as they minister in Africa!

3. Ladies' Saturday MORNING GLORY meetings are still underway--they meeet at 10am in the sanctuary every Saturday for worship and the Word. (NOTE: we will NOT be having Morning Glory on Dec. 10 due to the Ladies' Luncheon.)

4. A FEW OF THE CHRISTMAS EVENTS AT REZLIFE INCLUDE...
Christmas Outreach at the Mall of America: Come support our drama/music department as they put on a spectacular Christmas presentation on Sunday, Dec 11 beginning at 6pm at the Mall of America. The children and adults will all love to see your familiar faces in the crowd AND you will be blessed by their wonderful Christmas presentation!
Christmas Caroling: Mark your calendars for December 18th so you can take part in Christmas caroling in the neighborhood.
RezLife Christmas Program: This will take place on Wednesday, December 21st at 7pm in the evening.
December 24: RezLife will host a Christmas Eve service at 4pm that day. Come, let us worship the King.

2011 Trunk or Treat!

Spread the word...the 2011 RezLife Trunk or Treat is RIGHT around the corner! You can't miss it...hot dogs, chips, pop, GIANT INFLATABLES (a 25-foot "Titanic" slide, a Rescue Heroes Playland, a 68-food obstacle course), pumpkin crafts, cookie decorating, family photos, face-painting, a costume contest with prizes, a parade led by a fire engine, TONS OF TREATS and so much more! Invite your friends and join us from 4-9pm on October 31st at RezLife. Admission is free!

Scott & Maria Erickson are teaching the Discipleship Class for adults in the Fellowship Hall while children can participate in the "School of the Holy Spirit" class held in the Kids Church room. All Sunday School classes will wrap up at 9:30am.

1. SATURDAY "MORNING GLORY" CONTINUES: Every Saturday morning all ladies are invited to attend our wonderfully refreshing time of worship, the Word, and prayer in the RezLife sanctuary. We meet from 10am til Noon. Please come, bring a friend, and be touched by the glory of the Lord.

2. "TRUNK OR TREAT" PREPARATIONS: If you would like to HOST a trunk or VOLUNTEER to help at the Trunk or Treat on October 31st, please sign up on the clipboards located at the back of the sanctuary or at the Welcome Center upstairs.

3. ASIAN OUTREACH: Please keep Pastor Sharon and team in your prayers as they minister in Southeast Asia!

4. MEN, mark your calendars for the annual "MEN'S GAME FEED" coming up on November 18th. Hall of Fame Major League basepall player, Paul Molitor, will be our guest speaker!

5. PRAY & PICK your SMALL GROUP: Join us at 7pm on Wednesdays in the RezLife sanctuary. Take a look at the list of groups, pray about it, and pick the group topic that's right for you.

6. AWANA: Awana continues to meet every Wednesday at 7pm for kids age one through sixth grade!

Pursue Truth -- Avoid Deception Women's Weekend.

We want you to be the first ones to know about our upcoming Special Weekend for Women at Resurrection Life Church in Eden Prairie. Dates and times are Friday, October 7 at 7pm. Saturday, Octorber 8 at 9:30am and 1:00pm. Lunch will be served during a break from 12 noon to 1:00pm. Guest ministers include: Dr. Sharon Predovich (event hostess), Rev. Maria Erickson, and Rev. Becky Murphy.

This event is also fundraising effort for an upcoming mission outreach at the end of October to three Asian countries. We will be holding Pastors' and Leaders' Conferences in Bangkok, Thailand, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and Saigon, Vietnam. Our mission team will provide finances for venue rentals, meals, some housing, and transportation expenses for these dear believers to come from their home areas and be refreshed by the Holy Spirit's ministry. Some of them in Vietnam and Cambodia have pastored underground and under persecution for years. Your registration fee for the Women's Special Weekend will go directly towards our $ 7,000 budget to make this happen.

You may register for the Women's Weekend Event after Sunday morning services at Rez Life Church, call the church office and register with a credit card, or send in your registration via mail. We are very excited about the theme of Pursue Truth -- Avoid Deception that the Lord has laid on our hearts. Please make plans now to be a part of this exciting weekend on October 7 and 8.

1. Men: Time is running out! Call the church today (952.934.5433) if you are planning to attend the retreat at Ruttger's on September 9,10,11. Space is limited and Pastor Bill is making the final room assignments. The theme of the retreat this year is Authentic Manhood.

2. Women: Saturday morning meetings will continue this fall! Join us on Saturdays from 10am-Noon for Morning Glory. It's a wonderfully refresthing time of worship, the Word, and prayer in the RezLife sanctuary. Please come, bring a friend, and be touched by the Glory of the Lord!

3. Kids: AWANA starts Wednesday, September 7th! We offer AWANA programs for kids of all ages!

Puggles recognizes the learning ability of 2- and 3-year olds by introducing biblical precepts at church and equipping parents to teach them at home. Toddlers love having their very own Awana club just like their older siblings.

Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3- to 5-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word.

Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.

T&T engages third- through sixth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ's grace.

4. After a short end-of-summer break, SUNDAY SCHOOL (for adults and kids) will be starting up again on September 18th! 9am in the Fellowship Hall.

5. RezLife Ministry Institute: The Institute will be kicking off on Saturday, September 17th. Be sure to register for classes by calling the church. If you are feeling called to ministry in any capacity, this Institute is your next step of preparation. Come and learn Biblical, practical aspects of ministry under seasoned and anointed leaders. RezLife Ministry Institute.

If you feel you have a call on your life for ministry, the RezLife Ministry Institute is your next step of preparation.

September 17 is the kick off date for the next term of the ministry institute. Please check the table at the back of the sanctuary for further information or see Chris Harken or Donna Clark.

The RezLife Ministry Institute classes meet ONE SATURDAY a month from 9am to 4pm (September through June).

First year courses cover nearly fifty topics regarding ministry and Christian leadership. Students receive class notes for each course throughout the ten-month teaching term.

Second year students focus on five or six major areas and receive not only class information, but also experience practical application through ministry assignments and mentoring encouragement.
