Evangelism

The Evangelism Ministries of Resurrection Life Church and World Ministry Center are varied, covering our local "Jerusalem" to the very "uttermost parts of the earth." This is an ever-expanding arena that grows as different members of the congregation catch the heartbeat of God for specific ministry outreach.

Current evangelistic opportunities through Resurrection Life Church include:

• Sharing the Gospel on the streets.....evangelism teams currently meet at 6:30 pm on Saturdays at Lunds on Lake an Hennepin.  If you would like to participate in this outreach, please contact Donna Briggs at 952.933.2066
• Run For The Son.....Some church members spend their weekends attending motorcycle rallies and biker events to witness and share the Good News of Jesus Christ with this special "congregation" of people.  Many have come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior through these evangelistic efforts.
• Evangelistic Crusades.....These are done generally overseas through our missions outreach endeavors in various nations.  Attendance is usually in the thousands each year with many salvations, healings, and baptisms in the Holy Spirit.  Our evangelism teams work with ministries in the crusade cities to network new converts into local churches for discipleship and future Christian growth.
• Special Events.....Throughout the year there are many events sponsored by Resurrection Life that encourage our members to reach out to friends, family, and others in sharing the Gospel message.  These include retreats, vacation Bible school, conferences, seminars, special speakers, Encounter weekends, etc. 
• Elderly Outreach.....Each week there are people that visit nursing homes and other senior care centers to bring encouragement through the Word and worship.  
• The PROP Food Shelf.....RezLife participates in the locoal PROP Food Shelf program. Please bring donations and drop them in the blue containers near the upper and lower entries.  The Food Shelf Committee will then take the donations to PROP or distribute them to families needing food assistance within the church.  Please ensure all items are within the expiration date and have never been opened.   Thanks for being a blessing to others!
