The Ministry of Helps

In the times we live in, members of the Body of Christ be doers of the Word and not just hearers only. Part of this "doing" is reaching out with servant's hearts in love and assistance to those who gather with us in worship, fellowship, and important events of our lives. The "Helps Ministries" of Resurrection Life Church and World Ministry Center assist in bringing life, love, and laughter from the pulpit to the pew.

Porter Ministry
The Porter Ministry is the name of the ushering program at Resurrection Life Church. It's name is derived from 1 Chronicles 9 where the characteristics and responsibilities of the "gatekeeper" are mentioned. This is one of the meanings of "porter."

Hospitality Ministry
Life, love, and laughter are certainly earmarks of the hospitality ministry at Resurrection Life Church. Our congregation always likes to get together for fellowship and sharing in one anothers' lives. For example, "Cake Sunday" has become a regular event at Resurrection Life! The first Sunday of each month birthdays and anniversaries are recognized in the morning services with prayer for those "honored" individuals and then celebrated with cake and beverages in the fellowship hall.

Wedding and Funeral Ministry
Our wedding and funeral coordinators assist the needs of those who use Resurrection Life Church for such events. Please contact the church main office at 952.934.5433 to set up an appointment for wedding planning or funeral arrangements.
