Young Adult Ministry
Last Days Disciples, the Young Adult Ministry of Resurrection Life Church, meets Thursday evenings.
Leaders Scott & Maria Erickson teach and mentor young adults on how to be an authentic, radical, sold-out, and fruitful disciples of Jesus Christ and how to go forth and make disciples! Come hungry for both physical and spiritual food.
Young Adults Bible Study takes place every Thursday beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Located at 16935 Cedarcrest Drive, Eden Prairie.
Young Adult Discipleship Topics Include:
- Servanthood motivated by the love, humility, and compassion of Christ, laying down His life for others, doing good to all, etc.
- Spirit-led study and application of an "Abiding-in-the-Word" life walk
- Prayerful contemplation on developing a personalized plan for spiritual growth
- Cross-bearing perseverance by faith, developing a "count-it-all-joy" mentality despite circumstances
- Bride-prep passion for Jesus the Groom, constant readiness and eager anticipation
- Child-birthing excitement for evangelism and discipleship -- the love and concern for maturing and training-up newborn Christians
- Bootcamp discipline for spiritual warfare -- full armor of God training exercises, war tactics of grace, peace, and love
- Empowered-from-on-high -- within awareness! Listening for the Holy Spirit's guidance
- Full-body-of-Christ awareness and concern -- a world-view of God's family and our fulfillment of His commission
- Radical, outrageous, extravagant "love-one-another" grace
Scott and Maria Erickson are licensed ministers through Resurrection Life Church where they lead the Young Adult and Drama ministries. They founded Last Days Disciples, a ministry dedicated to maturing and equipping others to become passionate, mature and fruitful disciples that make disciples. Scott has been a Bible teacher, evangelist and disciple-maker for twenty years. He spent seven years taking in and discipling troubled youth and has been a deliverance minister since 1996. Maria has a Doctorate Degree in Theology and has been a preacher, disciple-maker, and deliverance minister since 1996. Scott and Maria are engaged in discipleship and deliverance ministry on a weekly basis. They have three young sons, John-Lukas, Justin and Jordan.
